The Hunger Games
This week I finished reading Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. I wasn't sure what to read next, but Mrs. B recommended I read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Thus far, I am only a few pages in. I'm as-of-yet unsure if I'll continue reading it. I've heard great things about the series and it seems to be quite popular, but I'm not sure if it's my type of book.
Did you know that Truman Capote has a connection to Harper Lee and To Kill a Mockingbird? I'm not sure if you have read To Kill a Mockingbird? I know you've heard Kendra and Anna talking about it. Anyway - if you have read it, here's the connection (FYI): Truman Capote and Harper Lee (To Kill a Mockingbird author) were childhood friends and the young boy in TKaM (can't remember his name, Scout's friend) is based on Truman Capote (supposedly anyway).
