I'm working my way through
To Kill A Mockingbird for Lit Classics. Last time I read it I got just over half way and didn't finish, but this time I'll have to. I didn't hate it the first time... it just didn't draw me in and hold my attention. Perhaps discussing it along the way will help me keep my focus this time around.
It's interesting, isn't it. . . how a book can be so appealing to one person, and not another. Many of the comments you make, remind me of some of my own ways of interacting with reading. I think I probably don't finish as many books as I do - I'm always amazed by people (like Mrs. Krambeer, for instance) who HAVE to finish reading a book once they've started it, weather they like it or not.
